Re: 2 tough decisions from Foxwoods

Hand 1. Definitely not folding here. I'll raise here and try to finish the hand. I don't think BB has a set, or T9, too big of a raise on the flop. Looks like QT, KT. I think you're ahead...

Re: Taj still holding its daily tournaments this Easter weekend?

Thanks for the info.

Those were the numbers I've been calling. Maybe too early? I'm calling during work. hehe.

If I'm not playing golf, I'll be at the 11AM Sat tourney, probably with a...

Taj still holding its daily tournaments this Easter weekend?

I think Foxwoods or Borgata cancelled their daily tourneys this weekend because of Easter. Is the Taj doing the same thing? Hoping to go play in one this Saturday, can't get through the...

Re: Results

Like your handle. SAKU!!!

The limp re-raise usually means AA or KK unless the guy is a complete donkey. Tough spot to pick up QQ, better luck with the ladies next time.

Re: Final Table At Yesterday\'s Taj $50+15 MTT - Report

Nice report.

I've always wanted to play in the Monday $50 or Friday's $150 tourney at Taj. How would you characterize the players in the tourney?

Been there, done that. You, Vince and Cris can play Scrabble with Paul after the tourney for bubble gum.

Re: Hopkins vs De La Hoya, lets get it on!

I'll be in the Borgata, they *should* have a sports bar of some sort there that's showing this fight.

Hopkins vs De La Hoya, lets get it on!

Anyone think De La Hoya will win this fight and not be carried out in a stretcher?

I think he has a OK shot since he has good hand speed, but it's hard to see him beat Hopkins.

Can anyone...

Re: UTG hands

ATo - fold 70%, raise 30% (on weak tables)
A7s - fold
QJs - fold 60%, raise 40% (might limp if it's a very loose passive table, rarely do this though)
QJo - fold
KTs - fold 75%, raise 25% (might...

Re: AKo in BB. Put in more bets? Where?

When Button and SB called on the flop, you need to trap them in for another bet and charge them for their draws, easy 3-bet on the flop.

Maximum BB/hour that you can win?

Just wondering, what's the maximum number of BB/hr (or BB/100 hands),that you can win? Say that your play is perfect.

Take it another step, you can see all of your opponent's cards, but they...

Re: Sudden bet on turn

looks good, pretty standard stuff. SB's stop and go doesn't mean much. Yeah, call down if you get 3-bet. Only time I would consider folding is if the opponent is super passive calling station...

Poker Gods are Just.

First off, I'm not a Matusow fan, However he did show some class when he offered to shake Raymer's hand again and his apology did seem sincere. Anyway....

Raymer's A...

Is it really a big deal?

1. I don't think it's true.

2. What's the big deal about posing in Playboy?

Which game is better in AC? 10 or 15?

I'm going to be in Atlantic City the last weekend of this month. Thinking of going to the Borgata, (maybe the Taj). Just wondering if the 10-20 game is better or the 15-30 game.

Thanks.

Cardplayer magazine

Some of you said that Cardplayer Magazine articles gave bad and even harmful advice sometimes, can you give examples and point out what was wrong with it? Thanks.

too passive

You call too much when it is a fold/raise situation. Because of this, you never know where you are. It is rarely correct to just call.

1. you need to raise either on the flop or the turn and...
