Re: QQ in LP - what to do, what to do?
you know what i meant, even if you have the best hand you have to dodge 3 drawing hands to win the pot. And if you don't have the best hand then your 4.2-1 underdog.

Re: Why Do So Many People Stall?
Well what if you are having internet connections, and are not stalling? How can you determine which is which? By no means should someone be penalized for AOL being as slow as it is :0.

Re: Why Do So Many People Stall?
Doesn't the tournament go hand for hand when you are that close to the money? Stalling does no one good, because you have to wait for other tables to finish anyways.

Re: Harrington on holdem is pretty good so far.
I think you are correct. Nothing beats experience. I read a few books, but when i was in a multi with 36,000 chips and already in the money, I had no idea how I sould be playing. I lost my chips...

Re: QQ in LP - what to do, what to do?
I would fold in this situation also. Even if you have the best hand preflop, which is unlikely with the betting and raising all-in's, you still have to outdraw 3 hands to take down the pot.

Re: Newbie seeks advice....
There is no way I would check/raise in this situation. You either have to bet it out on the flop, at least to see his hand strength, or fold to his bet. Q 4 o/s is not a strong enough hand, to risk...

Re: Newbie seeks advice....
I agree with most of what you wrote, however why bet 850? you only have 1300 in your stack. I think if you are going to bet it would be best to move all in on the turn. There is no way you can fold...

Re: Difficulty adjusting to party
The best advice i could give you would be to stick with UB, and pokerstars. Partypoker is the worst site I have ever played on. I would say literally 60% of the time the worst hand wins. That site...

Re: Beating the Party 10+1, Part 2

Tournament situation
4 people are left, top 3 get paid. You have AQ o/s and two people are all in in front of you, one of the two has your stack covered. Do you call in this situation?
