which part is wrong?

The entire statement, they will call your bets and there is a reasonable chance that you will get drawn out on.

Re: QQ hand, value bet river?

Reads on anyone (i know 5th hand but stats from previous session?) or at least the stakes you are playing at? I would bet this and fold to a raise (might consider a call if UTG raises and BB folds)....

Re: bad slowplay

[ QUOTE ]
they'll all just fold if i bet out, and not many chances to be drawn out on.

[/ QUOTE ]
I hope you don't take this as an insult but you are so wrong.

Re: bad slowplay

There are A LOT of opponents at higher stakes that limp UTG where I raise this in order to try to isolate. I would strongly consider it here against this one (but you didn't give a read, you may not...

Re: Bet/Fold seemed right?

The folding is definately the right move. The betting part is the questionable one. When a player (which we could see as a typical 2/4 player) raises from the button and then you 3-bet him (thus...

Re: river poll

When he raises the flop he could have hit (or not) nearly any pair and believe you are playing over cards. Later you then establish that you do have a hand by raising the turn. When he then raises...

[ QUOTE ]
May I fold, please?

[/ QUOTE ] I give you my permission as long as you don't have a read that says he likes to make moves more ofthen than he should. I think he gives you credit for...

Re: Couple HU hands and a couple HU PF decisions.

HU play: it's so tough to give really good answers to your questions. So much depends on your opponent and also on what your opponent thinks of you. Further what does your opponent think you think of...

Re: 10 High Flush On The River Facing A Bet

You really need to bet this flop. I can't think of a reason to not bet this flop. calling river is fine. I'm slightly tempted to raise but I just really hate the idea of opening myself up to a 3-bet

doubt very much he 3-bet PF with anything other than AK, AQ, KQ. i can rule out any pocket pairs.

I guess its a fold then. Further, this player seems to be somewhat...

Re: 99 flops set, but scary board

3-bet preflop. Get your value in there.
[ QUOTE ]
should i c/c the flop and then c/r turn here?

No, betting and trapping here is fine. You have a tremendous amount of equity....

Re: 5/10 T8o flops top pair in multiway raised pot

You need to c/r this flop. 10 SB, fairly big, you could probably count on CO to bet, you have to c/r this. Donking the flop is hmmm... bad but superior to your chosen play. I don't see why in the...

I bet, BB raises, MP cold-calls, I 3-bet, BB caps, MP calls.
BB has Kc8c for the rivered flush. MP has AsAh.

Was I wrong to 3-bet in this spot?

Re: Please don\'t pair the river

I don't see pre-flop being too bad. Pot is big and multiway and you have a hand that plays pretty well in these types of situations. You played flop and Turn perfectly /images/graemlins/smirk.gif....

Re: AK line against TAG. What you think?

Unless you have some notes saying villian does some goofy things I can't see this as a good play. Villian stats tend to say that he is a reasonable and at least somewhat thinking player that is...

Other than the value you're missing PF ( I know you said not to mention it but I can't help myself, you are just misssing out on some $) I believe you played the hand fine.

Re: Blind Defense Against LAG

I'm showing down this hand no matter what. I just think I would have liked to have seen you maybe lead the turn or cap the flop, basically but a few more in there.

Re: AA ... Lots of Heat

Players like UTG don't call two cold without a really strong draw or a slowplayed (probably silly to slowplay on this board multiway) hand such as a set or QT. That really strong draw just came in...

Re: small pot FD OOP, picking up bottom pair on the turn

These types like to call down even after a raise on previous streets. 50 VPIP has a tough time folding anything. Take the free card. The 2 didn't do much other than maybe add 5 more outs. These extra...

cool, river raise is cool too IMO, i don't think this player can 3-bet this river without a Q. The turn check should be the part that is debated here. It might have been but I'm yet to read the...

Re: bad river spot vs maniac AQs 5/10

Even if SB wasn't a LAG I think this is a call. There is a good portion of the time that he has Q5 here. BTW, your flop raise and turn bet is cool too.
