Re: Screwed this up, didn\'t I?

Maybe the open on the turn is a bit over zealous. I still 3 bet the flop.

Re: Screwed this up, didn\'t I?

3-bet the flop. It will give you great info. Even if he caps the flop, I still open on the turn. If MP2 raises, he has a K or 66 in which case you are drawing to 2 outs, but now you have a larger...

Re: Preflop/Flop pocket pair.

Check and fold, there's already too much out that beats you.

Ok, I know this was just a guidline but my PT stats over 25K hands say that 22, 33 and A9s are losers from EP. I...

He turned over KTs (hearts).

That doesn't sound like an LP.

I see some of the most random bets from PT passives.

Absolutely sure?

Yeah, becaue everytime this guy hit an ace preflop he was raising. And although he played slightly loose, I couldn't see him limping in with say QJ or...

Re: When to fear the back door flush...

Looking back, you are absolutely right. I need to raise the flop. If he he folds great, if he raises I can get out cheap.

The way I played it allowed him to get to see his turn card cheaper...

Re: moving up IMPOSSIBLE

On Empire, for me, the difference has been table selection.

I look for full tables with medium-high pot size. Also named tables seems to have more fish.

Use PT and GT+. Open 4 tables, go to...

Re: Feeling like I should just give up. (Low Content)

In mid March I had a 250BB down swing over 5K hands. Before that, I had always been a moderately winning player. I took some hard looks at my game and found that the little stuff was killing me. ...

Re: Gotta love getting 12BB in with pocket aces (NC)

You know guys like this are wierd. They think only an ace deserves a preflop raise and when they get it they go crazy. These guys are beatiful when you get quality hands and are usually very...

More fun with JJ...

Ok, I know we just had a similar post about JJ, but this one is a little different. Plus my pocket pair play could use some work.

Re: flop bottom 2 from SB

With no reads, I'd have to say UTG has a set or top 2 pair. Check the turn and try to get to the river cheap.

Ahh, but it's shorthanded and I always get fouled up here.

Re: KQs in CO

Play here is entirely read dependent. Passive? Don't bother betting, because they will will just call down with Ax. Agressive? Bet into them for inforamtion.

Re: My greatest weakness

What i've recently found is that the named tables with medium/low average pots have a lot of loose/weak players. I regularly find 40%+ VPIP and sometimes 50-60% VPIP tables.

Re: TPTK, scary board, your action?

With no reads, I fold this preflop. A9 has been a loser for me anyways.

If I was in, I check/call on the flop and fold on the turn.
