Re: 80k hand check up 5/10 6 max

Your shorthanded stats looks exactly like mine except that you defend your BB 6% more than I do. But I play 1/2$ and people probably steal much more in the 5/10 games.

Do you 8-table shorthanded...

10 Hands against a Maniac

Played against a maniac yesterday. He played about 60% of the hands and tried to cap 40% of the hands preflop. He goes to showdown about 60% of the time. Very aggressive postflop. He slows down if he...

Re: Adjusting to 2/4

Oops, something went wrong with the converter...
Opponent is MP and I am in the big blind.

Well an 8 is better for me as I don't have to worry that he hit a pair higher than mine.

Re: Adjusting to 2/4

[ QUOTE ]

Hand 2, I can't figure out who is BB here, but if you are going to fold turn here, you might as well fold to the flop raise. I 3 bet this on the flop.

Re: AK UI... river play ?

If he is the type of player who you can safely fold to if he raises, then it's a good valuebet.

Against a tricky player I prefer to check trying to induce a bluff.

Adjusting to 2/4

I have recently started to play 2/4$ but so far I'm getting crushed and am down 150bb over 2000 hands (I know, sample size yada yada....) The main difference from 1/2 I've found is that there are...

77 against 80/15 crazy guy

The table is going crazy with 70% vpip

Button sees the flop with eight out of ten hands but he hasn't been overly aggressive. No good reads on the other players.

Value betting on paired board

Re: How\'s my stop and go

Hm, a tough one. Against an opponent you play much with you really need to vary your play here (I don't think it's much difference EV wise between your options).

But against unknown opponents I...

Re: T7o - How Marginal - BB blind steal hand

I hate the preflop call. How often do you fold in BB, 20%?

Don't you set yourself up for a tough decision on the turn, what do you do if he raises?
By checking the turn you give him a chance to...

Re: Easy hand reading exercise.

My guess: AK not hearts and not diamonds

Yes I like the play. Not leading out on the flop is good because then you have a better chance of protecting the pot on the turn if you hit top pair.

Re: top set - turn decision

No a third flush card does not count as a scare card.

It counts as a "you-need-to-bet-to-get-any-low-club-to-fold" card.

So you don't think villain has a full house at least 33% of the time?

I would say river is a clear call.
