Re: Starting Hands

Major,

As I just wrote to Dynasty in another post everyone is entitled to play as they choose. I will not ever be convinced that a pocket pair with a 4% chance of hitting a set on the flop is a...

Re: Starting Hands - What do you think?

Dynasty,

I can appreciate your advice for what it is, but just as I have been saying in this post as well as in Festus22's post "to each there own." Meaning you must determine your own style of...

Re: Starting Hands - What do you think?

Re: I thought the turn call was borderline

I just re-read your original post about the bet and raise on the turn. I mis-read it the first time and thought that the MP had bet out and LP just smooth called. Now that I realize there was a...

Re: AKo utg

Schmed,

You played this hand excellently. This is a text book model play.

Pre-flop you raised. I think both MP and LP made horrible calls, but depending on which book you read I have saw some...

Re: My two cents worth (Long)

You're correct sir, two sessions does not make for a large enough sampling to dictate further success or failures. But as I said this is simply my own beliefs and they are arrived at not just by...

Re: Interesting Situation

I'd take the cash and call it even for the times I mucked winners when I was first at the game. It should hopefully act as an expesive lesson for the guy as mine did.

I flopped trip 5's with two...

EP2 = Set - probably the 10's...

Ever tell someone to stop asking for setups?

I agree with all that was said above about asking for deck changes, set-ups, and scrambles being a complete waste of time. The only thing that asking for a set-up does IMO is to tell everyone at the...
