Re: Mediocre 3 Flushes

No I'm pretty well book learned. But sometimes I'm surprised by what some posters see as profitable situations, and just wanted to make sure. Don't worry, I usually folded these hands, and now will...

Re: Mediocre 3 Flushes

I had a feeling these hands were cheese, and the concensus seems to be that they're all the way to the bone cheese. I'll avoid going into combat with them in the future.

Admitedly, I always would...

Re: Colluding... turn your head in shame.

I see your point.. which is "what's the point of even worrying about this crap" I think. But he made it sound like they were pretty well behaved and serious. I just assume they aren't 19 and spending...

That's going to be an expensive, fruitless chase. Don't get yourself mixed up in it.

Colluding... turn your head in shame.

I was fairly shocked recently when a friend of mine who knows nothing of gambling/poker told me about what he sees every day. He works in a university computer lab which has a great many stations...

Re: Mediocre 3 Flushes

Or wait... is it because the fact that it's 3 handed means that I won't be getting the odds to draw on later streets, so it's smarter to fold up shop now?

Mediocre 3 Flushes

I primarily play in a dime ante $1/2 game online, which allows me to play tight enough to navigate two tables at once. Obviously, I try not to get involved in too many marginal situations, since...

Re: Help: What online poker room has the wierdest versions of poker?

I think it would rule if some site specialized in B-list poker games. Allot of them still require plenty of skill. My suggestions (do add your own) would be...

Re: SSH - raising 99 in EP

I'm still suprised no one is worried about a 3-bet here. Even if you have most of the players read as "any two cards" types, that still doesn't mean they are any less likely to be dealt a premium...

Re: SSH - raising 99 in EP

It seems like allot to assume that 6 people are going to call your raise UTG, even if the game is very loose. I could see it happening some of the time. But often, you'll get three bet, and calling 3...

Re: Variance higher vs. bad or good players?

I don't know exactly, and this is a really good question. But it seems like when I am running bad, my game selection is at the heart of it.

As the other guy said, a losing streak will seem to go...

Re: AKo, 2 other players all in. Do you push it in too?

I definitely push too. You've only got five and a half times the BB, going allin with AK in that situation is better than having to post your last 890 chips w/74o 18 hands later.

Re: Two $15-30 hands that bugged me

Can I ask why you raised preflop in hand two? Is the suited sawmill now a playable hand? 6-7 handed I could see it, maybe... but was this a 10 handed table? Your read was important obviously... but...

Re: Party 30/60 hand - ATs utg, scary board and big pot

7 handed I would limp about half the time, raise the other half. I limp with it sometimes because if someone has a stronger ace they'll almost certainly raise... if it's raised, I play a flopped ace...

Re: I am Jack\'s Ace Jack suited

Nice hand. I think you might have pushed him off of QQ. It might backfire allot of the time too, but I should probably add more of this type of play to my game. Then again, he might have had nothing....

Re: Help! I am a limit HE fish!

I don't know if I would have called the AQ in the BB for 3 bets hand unless I knew the raisers to be very loose, but you played it right after that. The other hands looked fine to me too. Probably...

Missed opportunity with my pocket fives

$3/6 online. Table was extremely loose aggressive.

Dealt pocket fives in the BB. UTG raises, I plan to call as I see a couple others cold calling along. M/LP player raises to three bets and it...

Re: No free cards!

I love that this fairly disintesting hand has gotten so much action as far as responses, it goes to show that these "it happens 2-3 times an hour" hands are where allot of us are confused, and...

I like to play cribbage and wouldn't mind finding an online site where you can play for money (once you play poker enough, the game always has to have something extra to keep it interesting), can...

A \"problem\" with wired aces

Hi. I primarily play in low limit 7 stud games where the action is very loose, and the ante is small, so you typically try to have a real hand to win.

I just last session was fortunate enough to...

Re: i berated a fish for my first time today...

Yah, it sucks he ate your sandwich on a couple hands, but you really never should let into a bad player for any reason. I've yet to do that, and I think it's a good thing. My problem is that I don't...

Re: What\'s the best way to transfer money?

firepay sux. use Neteller.

No, but seriously, Neteller is a publicly traded company out of the UK, are you sure it isn't allowed in a specific US state? It just wouldn't make much sense.
