Re: Mod for Eurobet

Try setting up a .bat file to copy your images over after opening Eurobet. Then all you'd have to do is open Eurobet and then click on a shortcut to the batch file. Should work.

Re: PokerTracker Performance and SQL

I'm running the PostgreSQL database off of my linux machine and I can tell you that as I acquire more hands it takes longer and longer to open. Response time suffers when switching tabs as well. ...

Re: Should I have hit the raise button?

I'd 3-bet the SB and then bet/raise on the flop. You want control of this hand.

If villain calls your flop bet/raise and checks to you on the turn, bet. If he comes out betting I'd pop him again...

JJ, paired board, overcard on turn

With the recent move up to 2/4, I've also begun reading the SSH forum. This is my first hand post...

Unfortunately, I have no reads at the moment. Is this an easy fold on the turn?

You should be clearing any crypto using the $1 raked system at 2/4.

Re: 77 in CO 1st hand

grunching

To be honest, I think cold-calling with 77 is marginal with only 2 limpers in front that will (probably) call the raise.

On the flop, with the BB leading out and being raised, I think...

Re: Nut flush draw on a paired board

nestle grunch

This hand is multiway so bet that flop. If someone check-raises you, so be it. A likely candidate would be a lone Q and you still have 9 outs to improve. So you'd call the...

Re: TQs BB. Standard?

grunch

Not standard.
With 6 others, by raising from the BB you're just helping out everyone else's pot odds since QTs is marginal at best from this position.

That said, flop call is fine...

Re: To raise or not to raise?

grunch

Without a read, I think you just call here. He could have anything from AK to KJ or K9 to a smaller flush. If the board wasn't paired, I would have re-raised on the river, but in this...

Re: 1/2 questions from newbie

Speaking of Jones' book, his was my first poker book and helped me crush the nanos (up to .50/1). It's a very good book for the "no fold'em hold'em" style of play you encounter on these levels. His...

Re: KK, Paired flop and a donk bet

grunching

I like the flop raise, you're not 3-bet which leads me to believe the villain doesn't have another J. Turn sucks but I bet knowing I'll have to fold if raised. If he calls the turn I...

After the flop odds/after the turn odds

I think I've been making a pretty serious error in valuing my hands. I read the Memorizing the Odds article in this month's 2+2 magazine and almost [censored] a brick when I realized what I've been...

Re: How long did it take you to move up through the limits?

I've followed that exact path and just now started play at 2/4. My experience was this:

0.02/0.04: Play money table. I gave up on this crap shoot after a thousand hands or so.

0.05/0.10: The...

Re: K5s from BB - play it differently?

grunch

Don't like the 3-bet. You've got middle pair no kicker on the turn. There's an overcard and a flush draw on the board. If you really don't think he has the ace, call the raise. For all...

Re: My discipline problems(little to no content)

Try and figure out your goals for playing. Do you want to be a better poker player or are you content to play break-even poker and make your money with bonuses? If it's the latter you'd focus on...

Re: Small pocket pairs. Am I leaking

To further the discussion, I usually dont call 22-88 from early & middle positions unless I'm reasonably confident the pot won't be raised. As others have said if it IS raised and 3-4 come along I...

Re: Not a swing, but a plateau

Yep, I just went through a "plateau" as well. Mind you, there was a couple +/- 100BB runs in there, but over 50k hands, a graph definitely gives the impression of a plateau. Finally snapped out of...

Re: How should u play this?

Tried to edit my original but apparently I can't.

I didn't realize this was 6max. My advice was based on full ring, which may or may not apply here.

Re: How should u play this?

You've got middle pair with a high kicker on the flop. If your opponent has the ace he's not going anywhere, so a raise is incorrect. Have you determined if you should call? You may be...
