Re: Empire Threatens to Freeze my Account

[ QUOTE ]
What do you think all this "terrorism" is about? It's little powerless people who feel they have been wronged and want revenge but don't have the wherewithall for a frontal attack so they...

Re: AKo on Party 1/2

Looks fine to me and I guess the lack of responses is down to the fact there's not really anything to discuss about the hand, just standard play.

Just to add to the list: Fúcking well done for coming out and posting as you did, shows a hell of a lot of character.

Re: Hand review - first Real Money SNG

I disagree, this is a small buy-in SnG, the culprit has him/her easily covered and is going to call with the flush draw anyway (someone who raises people out of the pot when they're on the nut flush...

Re: Hand review - first Real Money SNG

Presumably if it's your first it's a 5+.50. I don't play at Stars at all but giving your opponent credit for playing a fairly reasonable standard game as you didn't mention anything I think you...

Re: How many SnGs have you WON? A happy post

Completely hammered I made a bet with a friend for £250 about a tax rate(!?) and lost. He decided to invest his winnings in me at poker to give me a chance of winning it back - I had to lose it all...

Re: RESULT

I'll make this quick because there are too many people who don't seem to have read the original post properly and not understood what I meant in my others.

I never advocated calling here, I said...

Re: Folding AQos to a single raise

[ QUOTE ]
mucking good hands against people with no understanding of position and who suck at playing isn't usually a good idea.

Re: RESULT

My reasoning for calling (although I didn't) rather than raising it because the original raiser will usually continue to raise until you reraise. If I flop top pair i'm happy to keep calling these...

Re: Folding AQos to a single raise

To clarify, patently it's not normally right to call a raise with KJ. I perhaps didn't qualify that i've played quite a lot of profitable online poker, although certainly no-limit more than limit....

Re: RESULT

For what it's worth UTG had AJs, UTG+1 had AJos.

Although my fold according to the FTOP was clearly incorrect, as it happened the flop came ace high and the turn brought one of the two remaining...

Re: Folding AQos to a single raise

Never say never, regularly there are players obviously tilting or who don't know what they're doing raising with all sorts of crap on the low limit Paradise tables and no doubt it's worse (or rather...

Re: Folding AQos to a single raise

I can't believe it's right to fold this regularly at low limits.

Although I am showing a loss on my tiny sample of cold calls with AQ (7 times) i've won more than twice what i've lost with AQ on...

Re: Poker tracker significant sample query

Damnit, I thought I was going to get my significant sample within a month and was doing pretty well with 7000 hands in 10 days, looks like it'll be a while longer yet. I'll probably give up and move...

Folding AQos to a single raise

Paradise 2/4

UTG Raises, UTG+1 cold calls, folded to me on the button with AQos. Easy raise right? I've never folded in this spot before and had been multitabling so didn't have much of a read, I...

What stats do you export? I've just started using this function and so far am using the VP$ in pot, FBB to steal and total hands played, plus my own notes. These seem to be the most important to me,...

Re: Poker tracker significant sample query

[ QUOTE ]
I have approximately 45,000 hands in mine, and feel pretty comfortable with the individual hand returns. For what it's worth, my winning % for AA is 90.2%, KK is 85.47%, QQ is 72.36%, AKs...

Poker tracker significant sample query

I've read 20,000 hands is acceptable as a sample size to gauge your BB/100 hands rate reasonably accurately (if anyone disagrees, please let me know why).

What sort of sample do people think is...

Re: Party Poker account freeze - over the top, incompetent or reasonable?

I don't see how funding my friend's account by transfer as opposed to depositing makes me more likely to be colluding with him. In both cases it's clear to the site that we have a financial...

Party Poker account freeze - over the top, incompetent or reasonable?

Let me start by saying that I prefer that Party and other sites are strict about collusion but this just seemed like a huge waste of my time and money:

Last weekend I was helping a friend set up...
