Re: John Gale

WSOP Sat

Just wanted some opinions. First of all, I'm kind of the guy that organizes about 20-25 every month. We had 40 at my house a few months ago. Anyway, I'm thinking of trying to put together a 60 person...

$200 WSOP sat at the local Harrahs

It's a double shootout, the blind structure is just ridiculous...at least I think so. Started with 3000, blinds started at 25/25, 25/50 and then doubling everytime thereafter every 15 minutes. I'm...

Not that I don\'t agree...

but why isn't Varkoni's(sp?) win given the same attention? Just something I've wondered. I know the field was larger when Moneymaker did it, but wasn't it larger because of the amateur the previous...

Won a FPP tourney last night

If by chance I were to finish in the top however many I need to, will there be a choice to take the cash or the seat in the Monte Carlo tourney?

Just wondering, thanks for any help.

Re: Party \"invite a friend\" - bonus whoring

That's what another person said, so I wanted to get some opinion on here. I just don't see the difference if my wife and I had two different accounts. I should get the bonus if she opens an account....

Party \"invite a friend\" - bonus whoring

Would it be possible to use the same credit card to open 4 separate accounts under my parents, sis, and wife's names? Get the $200 bonus for the four invites, play the number of raked hands to get...

Re: Why I suck at MTT\'s...

Yea, probably should have mucked on the flop or raised and then checked down most likely if he called. Atleast, you'd have gotten away much cheaper. Of course, if he re-raises the flop or bets into...

Re: Tips for playing with 95% novices

This is what I've been unable to do. Shake my head all the way home and get on the internet to play somemore. I'll try harder to remain more patient and tighter post-flop in a couple weeks.

I felt...

Re: What would you have done?

You're right, and I shouldn't be asking the question like that because I think the only move is to push it all-in. I guess what's eating me is the MP2 calling me with 88 and only having me covered by...

$8300 in chips, 30+ left, average stack around $8000, paying top 5, just moved to the 500/1000 level, 20 minute levels, 7 players at my table.

I'm on the button with KK, UTG calls, MP1 folds, MP2...
