Re: Poker Tracker: Does it help?
There are a few features in PokerStat that I used to like (before I stopped using it for PokerTracker). One was the auto-fill table feature. Man, it was so nice not to have to type in all those names...

Thanks Guys
Everybody that responded to this post and everybody that I talked to about it said I made a horrible fold and most said I should have raised. I'm really not weak tight at all, but just this one time...

What I Did
I folded. Set me straight, if you will, but I was just too afraid of being trapped for multiple bets with only two outs. Anybody could have a ten, flush and particularly straight draws were likely, I...

Interesting Aces Hand
I'm playing at Bay 101 in an 8/16 game. There is a true maniac on my immediate left, other players are pretty loose, but not dumb, and all are trying to get the maniac's money.
I open raise with...

A better way to think
If you don't want to seem like a shark just ripping them off, then give them what they really want: A fun game. Stick around and splash the chips around right along with them. Offer a little help...

Huh?
Why have so many people said you should have checked? I floped a royal with AKs the other day, bet it all the way against two limpers and won about 5 or 6 bets. What are your opponents going to catch...

Are you guys serious?
"Is it still true that people playing 5/10 still practice no foldem holdem ?!?"
Come play at Bay 101. We have 20-40, 40-80, and even 80-160 where the players call with J7o from middle position....

Re: He Called Me A Fish...
That play (the KQo fold) is too tight even at a ten handed table, unless the CO is very tight even in a steal position. These players are very rare.

Nice hand.
Perfectly played. You have every reason to call before the flop, especially since the players that you describe would probably raise if they dominated you, but they didn't so there's a good chance...

How \'bout this one:
If I'm dealing I could palm a card from the muck (or wherever) and drop it on top to be the next card. I can't do that if I have to burn. Of course I would have to use a partner's mucked card or the...

Re: Burn Card?
All of the above. There are umpteen ways the top card in the deck could be exposed, either because it's marked, flashed or whatever. Anyway, wouldn't it make you feel a little uncomfortable for the...

The reason:
You get this feeling because you only see his hand when he has the 8, so you only remember those times. Most of the time he calls, you show, he mucks, you forget it as routine and play the next hand....

No bad beat
Neither one of these was a bad beat. I wouldn't have seen the flop with the second hand. In the first hand you were behind from the flop. The first one is just bad luck. I would have let him do all...

Don\'t shove in here
I'd rather take a flop and give myself a chance to throw my hand away cheap. On the other hand, I'd figure you to have a better chance to double (or even triple) up this way too. After you hit you...

Re: AQs vs. a raise
I'd say it depends a LOT on the situation, but I would generally re-raise with AQs.

Re: What is this scam called?
It's not a scam really, just a cheap shot. Don't ever take a player's word for anything, and don't voluntarily show out of turn unless it's checked around on the river, then go ahead and show quickly...

Something to consider, just from a theoretical perspective, is that if you don't play the later streets as well you should be inclined to put in lots of money on third. This way you get the most...

Re: Results
Against most players I would assume that he didn't have a set because he raised. With a set he'd flat call hoping to 3 bet or raise the turn. In my games he could have 45, a big flush draw, an...

Re: Do You Agree with this expert
Hugely player dependant. In most lower-limit games it is a mistake to narrow a player's hand to much just because they raise from the BB. In this situation, however, there is a third player who's...

The call is not "expensive" at all. He's getting enough odds from the players in the pot that he should cap it if he knew that everybody with at least one bet in on this round would call. His fear...
