Re: standard small overpair?

Party $33 - bubble hand
I think this is an easy call under the "you have to finish last and shorty has to finish first to miss the money" rule. Am I right?
Blinds 200/400. 4 handed.

Re: $11\'s AQ... fold TPTK from early position?
[ QUOTE ]
Also, I think you need to lead out for more than 1/3 of the pot on the flop. Your actions looked like a weak continuation bet and invite a bluff.

question: the rule is that if u have <10bbs, then push, not raise...shouldn't it also be true that if all villians after you have <10bbs, then you should push, not raise, even if u have...

Re: 33 - JJ in SB, ugly board
I like how you played this hand. It is similar to the 99 hand I posted, except you were able to get it heads up after the flop and I wasn't /images/graemlins/mad.gif

Re: (22) 99 in SB, early on.
Thanks schwza. I feel like I played it okay only because the other options aren't that great.
Do you ever raise preflop in spots like this? I saw your JJ hand, similar to this one in many ways...

Re: (22) 99 in SB, early on.
I agree with a lot of what you say, but saying that I'll only get called by people with monster draws and those that dominate me is a little silly at this level.
I will get called here a lot by...

The turn is the part I'm really interested in getting comments on, but as always comments on all streets are welcomed.

Re: $33 - blind v blind 2nd hand
Hey schwza.
One of the main reasons I don't like raising the flop is...
say you raise to 200ish and villain pushes. Now you are looking at ~1050 pot and have to call ~450 more. Pretty good...

Re: Hand review fold or push?
1) Going through the blinds again will knock you down to t300, unless the blinds go up before they get to you, which is worse.
2) 55 is probably better than anything you will see before the blinds...
