Re: 5/10 NL QQ oop
Wow definitely misread that one, my bad. In this case, I definitely take the first line I mentioned.

Re: 5/10 NL QQ oop
I think the question should be what hands you beat min raise UTG+1, call your reraise and flat call that flop? Not too many(he looks like a donk, but I'm at least going to give him a little credit)....

Re: flopped set with deep stacks
I don't see how you're not pushing this flop with the given PF action. An EP raise isn't usually going to be a suited conn(unless he's crafty and good, which isn't very likely in tournys), and the...

Re: $55, JJ early, gets reraised from the blind
I called with my relatively good odds(about 2:1) and was pretty sure my implied odds were through the roof since I was 95% sure I was stacking him on a J high flop. Flop came T high and he pushed...

$55, JJ early, gets reraised from the blind
No reads. I think with the stacks I have some odds for purely set value. If I call, am I playing purely for a set?(theoretically, if he pushes an 8 high flop I'm folding?). A read really would...

Re: Bubble hand with 10s on the button($55)
Well at least this hand generated some good discussion. I thought it was really close and I moved the cursor over to push and then I realized that I didn't think too much of my competition and could...

Bubble hand with 10s on the button($55)
I'm not much of an ICM guy but this one seemed like a fold. I've really been struggling with my bubble play recently(getting stupidly aggro against big stacks) and am just trying to make sure I'm...

Re: EP Blind Steal
I've played in a few crappy live tournys like this before. I would say the calling range for the remaining villains(assuming they are average at best) is probably 77/88+, AJ maaaaaaaaaybe AT. I do...

Re: AK flops TPTK, get PSB into
[ QUOTE ]
I don't know about pushing the turn.
I mean, the original plan was to bet the pot on a blank turn. The K is essentiially a blank. I mean, sure it improved Hero's hand. But it's...

Re: Good spot to c/r the river or bet out?
Yea the more I think about this hand, the more I think I should have bet AT LEAST the pot on the river. I was pretty sure he had AQ/AK and was getting cute, and those are calling a big bet and maybe...

Good spot to c/r the river or bet out?
I think this has been a missing key to my NL cash game, and that is c/ring the river when I think my opponent will bet a strong hand that I have beat and I'll get him pot stuck into calling. Read on...
