Re: Does anyone REALLY know whats going on with online poker?

No one is saying they're honest. The better question is "are the games beatable." There are plenty of players making consistant wins with online poker. That's all I need know. There is no way to...

Re: Isle of Capri in Bettendorf, Iowa (Quad Cities)

Hi StevieG,

The Isle of capri in Bettendorf is my home cardroom even though I live in Indianapolis. Your observations are right on. I also say it is the friendliest cardroom around.

As to...

Re: Stupid presto :(

Re: Middle pair, overcard, 3 flush

Re: KJS against maniac

Played it fine given your description of the maniac. You really cannot push on the later streets give the board. Showdown and even if you lose it just sets the maniac up for the next time.

Re: Tell me what to look for in a monitor

Thanks ihaterivers,
But I am looking for a flat panel. Also, is there anything I should stay away from. What are the things I need to know to buy a flat panel for multitabling. Contrast ratio?

Re: Tell me what to look for in a monitor

A while back I joined the craz and placed a $100 in a partypoker account. Lost it all in about 3 days. I knew nothing more than your average home game player. Did not enjoy losing. So I went to...

Re: Am I a Bad Person now

It is not up to you to decide if they can
afford to lose the money. They will become
better players by just having you in the
game. Make them pay for the lessons.
And it is no different in...

Re: Am I a Bad Person now

You say you play for a living (while your in college) but
you have absolutely the wrong attitude to "play for

Re: Overcards - Could I have played them more aggresively

The cut-off is tight. He had AJo so you are

Should have folded on flop.

First try at 10 -20 level

I play at a very small card room (7 tables). Running 3-6, 10-20, 20-40 Hold'em.
