Settle an baseball trivia question (for my dad)

My dad, being a St. Louis Cardinals fan, made a bet with a cow-orker of his about who had a better record after their first 15 games this season: the Cardinals or the Yankees.

I'm coming up empty trying to find this info--can anyone out there help? Thanks.

Both teams were 8-7 after their first 15 games.

Thanks. Do you have a source I can refer to?

I used this. http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/teams/schedule?team=stl

You can check any team there.

Just wanted to point out that I incorrectly used "an" instead of "a" in the post title. I had originally planned on calling it "...an easy trivia question..."

Since we're correcting, your father works and communicates with bovines?

Believe it or not, I actually did type "cow-orker" intentionally. I think it's funny, which may or may not be the case.
