Folks:

I'm putting together a functional spec for some poker software. Searching through the archives for a "Best of..." online cardroom features, but still need more updated info.

SO: The question:

Why do you choose the cardroom you do?

Answers I have found include:
Bad players. Reliable software. Good tech support.

My question is more like

"What is the ONE feature you want in an online cardroom?"

Also, you're all knowledgeable, experienced, and yes, jaded players. What, IYHO, would a total rook looking to blow his paycheck cause he saw a Texas Hold 'em table at his local casino want in a poker room?

If I were a pro I want to see bad players, or I'll head somewhere else.
If I were an affiliate, I want to see bad players, or I'll send my players somewhere else.
If I were a bad player, I want to see bad players or I'll go somewhere else.

Both Pacific and Party have proven that software only needs to be somewhere near average, and marketing needs to be top notch. As proven over and over again, in many other businesses, marketing plays a larger role towards an organization's success than either product quality or customer service.

You spend the big bucks to bring in the bad players, and we'll all be there.

Character development MUD style.

He wants to have something for his money, I can still see it now (I've mentioned this before to a couple of sites)

Level 14, Title: Veteran, Career Pots won $531,745

Special abilities from experience points spent:

Level 6 (Learner) taunting of opponents when winning a pot.
Level 23 (Veteran standard)bad beat payback (Includes picking opponent off his chair and slamming him onto the table)
Level 8 (Adequate) style points, includes shades and a tie, but still not able to put feet on the table yet.
Level 2 (Noob) deck changing, only simple colors available, level 25 required for 'playboy' designs on the cards.

Etc Etc.

Experience points gained from winning pots spent on improving abilities creating loyalty and fun.

Level 3

Re: Spam

Choice poker pretty much asked the (2+2) players what they wanted and look at what happened to them.
