Fold pre-flop.

Stop making bad beat posts.

It is not a bad beat post
I just wanted to know if there was something you guys on 2+2 think I could have done to prevent this outdraw

I would bet more on the flop, but it probably wouldn't have made a difference. Anyone who calls an 80 chip raise in round 1 with QTs isn't going to fold an open ended straight draw on the flop.

Okay, yeah, this is a bad beat post when one knows two things on this hand.

1) How to prevent the draw out.
2) That there was likely no preventing it.

1) You don't know how to prevent it, because that is your question. Answer: Raise more on the flop. Pot bet is good, or just push it.

2) Since your t150 bet didn't work, pot size probably wouldn't either and likely not even a push. This guy called the pre-flop raise with garbage, then called the flop bet with a draw. He wasn't going anywhere. So, not preventable.

So, had you known these two things, this would be a bad beat post.

Re: A hand from a 20$ SNG

Thanks for all your replies. I guess my problem in this hand was that I became too greedy. I wanted all of his money, and therefore I lost. I should have bet much more on the flop.
But thanks for all your answer (except Wiggs73)

Best regards
Thomas

The worst thing about this hand is that I felt he had Q,10 on the turn, but I couldn't believe that he had called my pre-flop raise with that.
I think that is one of my problems, that I just can't fold a hand like that :O(

Folding here is defiantely -EV. In a $20 SNG you will see AK, KJ, K3, J9 etc... MUCH more than QT. Just one of those hands you were destined to lose, if you don't go broke here THEN you've got some leaks.
