What are the best books about Vietnam?

I am interested both in a historical account of the war (without political motivation if there is such a thing) and of the soliders stories -- I want to read stylish stories, not just boring accounts of atrocities.

I ordered Dispatches by Herr and Vietnam by Karnow.

"Marine Sniper" - this is the story of Carlos Hathcock, I think the author is Charles Henderson. Great book

"We were soldiers once" by Moore is a good read and offers some read betwen the lines insights into the war.

"Our Vietnam" by Langguth is a good historical and political treatment of the war.

A book Called Marine Sniper - 93 confirmed kills is a pretty good read. It chronicles the two tours of the USMC's most legendary scout sniper, Carlos Hathcock. Very fascinating.

Also One Shot One Kill is another good one, it is a series of true short stories of sniper tales from various wars.
