When Has Iraqi Military Distinguished itself?

I can't think of one time. Versus Iran? I don't think so. Kuwait? Occupying a defenseless foe, nah. Desert Storm? no. Using chemical weapons against the Kurds? Nope. The current conflict? Not so far.

Tom I believe in 324 BC they were on the side of Alexander the Great of Macedon. That seems to be the last time they had any military success. Of course the problem lies in the last words of Alexander prior to his sojurn to India. He said "Don't do anything till I get back." They are still awaiting his return!
