Can someone give me the SD for this please? I am checking my work here

It depends on whether you are talking about a sample (the 8 numbers you gave were pulled at random from a much larger dataset) or a population (those numbers are the only numbers in your dataset), because there are two different formulas.

For a SAMPLE, the standard deviation 9.8995, for a POPULATION it is 9.2601
