Casinos in Barcelona?
 

Planning a trip to Barcelona this summer and would like to know about the Casinos there. What type of games and limits are offered. If someone who has been there would share the info i really would appreciate it.

My understanding is that there is only one casino with poker, the one down by the Olympic Port. Last I heard it offered mid-limit limit hold'em and some NLHE and PLO. here is a link :

Went there a mongth ago. They have 20-40 hold'em, and PLO 5-10 blinds if i remember well.

When I was there last summer, things didn't get going until very late at night and was sparsely populated even then. Given the state of the dollar against the Euro, 20-40 was too steep for me. It's probably more steep now. Good luck.

Yeah, I was there last summer and went in, and wanted to check it out, but you had to pay to get into the Casino! I thought that was ridiculous and went back to drinking beer on the beach.

I stopped by a couple times. There was a coupon for free entry to the casino in my hotel. When I went they gave me another coupon for free entry, so I didn´t have to pay either time.

They had 3-4 tables going, 5-10 PLO and 20-40 LHE. Nothing smaller. The 20-40 game was astonishingly soft. VERY passive and VERY loose, similar to 6-12 or 3-6 in California, except more passive.

Note: they're only open from 3PM-5AM. They should have a 20-40 game going by 4PM on any given day, and the PLO game seems to start immediately at 3PM and doesn´t appear to break.

20-40 rake is pretty awful at 2.5% of the pot with NO cap. No rake when no flop.
