Wanted: The definative Connect 4 guide

I've been playing Connect 4 for dollars... and I'm not good enough yet. Anyone point me to the definitive Connect 4 strategy guide?

The middle column rules. Don't get trapped on the bottom. Create situations where your opponent will lose on the next turn regardless of his move. Block your opponent before he is able to set up such situations. I think that just about sums it up...

The first player can always win if he plays perfectly. Your first three moves should be 4-(4)-4-(4)-2. [The (4) represents your opponent's move.]

Type "connect four" java into google, and you can play against some computer programs that are either perfect or very close. Keep trying until you can beat them as first player.

Its all about zugzwang, if youre second dominate fourth row , if u play first dominate third row, if you know this then ure good. EDIT: but just "good".
