Protecting your hand in low limit

I'm just curious how to protect a great hand in low limits. I play more NL online, but I play Limit in B&M's, and it seems like no one will respect a raise at all, even if you cap the pot. I'm just curious how you successful low limit players make aggressors respect your raises a little more??

You don't want them respecting your raises. You want them calling your raises with their inferior hands, then chasing when they don't have the odds to.

This will lead to a lot of suckouts, but it will lead to a lot of big pots when you win.

Read Small Stakes Holdem By Ed Miller. It is specifically geared toward these loose games, and there is a chapter on protecting your hand. Follw his advice and you will crush these loosies.
