Two years ago I made $25,000 selling The Sims Online simoleans in 8 months.

Of course I had a cheating bot so my only time investment was about 3 hours a night of meeting people in game to sell the [censored], but yeah devoting your life to it is kinda sad.

But the money is out there - the president of IGE said it's an $880 million dollar industry now.

Some people grind poker, some grind video games.

Some of my friends power leveled and sold EQ characters, but they got paid an average of $10/hr after it was all said and done.

I never really played any MMORPGs until the WoW beta, and with the in house auctioning system there's not too much to sell on eBay except gold.
