It worked out nicely but it is hard to say what you would do if someone were on a flush draw [img]/images/graemlins/crazy.gif[/img]

Well... there are 17 bets in the pot when it gets to you. 3-betting seems best. I wouldn't tend to do this on a regular basis in a smallish pot with the flush draw afoot, but in this case it's probably the right move.

With the flush draw on the board I'd probably have tossed my hand to two bets cold if the pot had been small. As it is I don't mind your move at all, and it did allow you to drop your hand with that turn if you'd been bet into for a bit cheaper (knowing you were almost certainly beat). As it is, everything worked out swimmingly.

Heck that raise is pretty much for value with that draw, even discouting your outs to 6.
