horrible, right?

villain had pushed from the SB a couple of orbits ago for 800 total at the 100/200 level with T8o. otherwise i never even think about this call.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t300 (5 handed) converter

SB (t1200)
Hero (t1855)
UTG (t630)
MP (t2290)
Button (t2025)

Preflop: Hero is BB with Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">3 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">SB raises to t1200 (All-In)</font>, Hero calls t900.

I don't like it. You're getting the pot odds, so maybe it's +chipEV but I am 99% sure it's -$EV.

It 's not so bad. According to your read you have som chance to win. It would be a good spot for SB to make a move because you are his main obstacle to ITM.

If you win, you have a good chance to clock up the small stack because the two 2000s stacks have to run through you. You are going from struggeling to get ITM to the favorite to win it all. If you lose you are not out of it yet. I'd do it if my instincts would tell me that there is a great chance that SB makes a move at me.
