Stalin still revered

Quote from BBC

There is not one mention of gulags, concentration camps, dissidents, brutal economic policies, or his wartime pact with Hitler. I ask Lamara why.

"Of course he made mistakes," she says.

"Of course. But we can't blame them on one person only, can we?"

"People talk about his 'bloody regime', and it's true that lots of innocent people died, but sometimes I think he simply did not kill enough of them.

"He should have killed more - and he should have started with [Georgia's current president, Eduard] Shevardnadze!"

Lovely.

Some people don't deserve to inhabit human form. Stalin was certainly one such.

It is sobering and sad to read of ignorance yet today regarding his meritless actions and greatly evil influence on the world.

If there is any afterlife (and I don't profess to have any idea whether there is or not), Stalin is one of the few I would wish to be utterly dissolved, so that no trace of his spirit could remain to be capable of further acts of great evil.

It is sad that there are such twisted beings yet in the world who inflict immense misery on countless others.
