Ice water make you hot?
 

If I'm at normal body temperature, then drink a cup of ice cold water, for a minute or two afterwards I'll feel extremely hot. Is this normal?

The body compares internal temperature to outer temperature. It appears your body is just extremely senstive to a decrease in internal temperature. So you have nothing to worry about.
