My guess is that in hand 1 he had Ah, 5h and wanted to check/raise you on the turn. When he bet $1000 on OTR I would have tossed it. I thought you played hand 2 a little loose.

Your targets were seat 2 and 10, beat up on them as they're both trying to squeeze each other out of the money. Leave the fighting with the big stack until you've seen one of them fall.

I agree with Stoneii.

Why go toe to toe with the only stack in the game (hand 1) that can take you out?

In hand 2, similar situation, you still have enough chips to pressure the other 2 stacks in the game, not sure why you would go all in with a pair of 2s.

On hand 1, your rasie to 700 was cute, but not strong enough. You left yourself open for one of the shortstacks to push all-in on you. Calling an all in w/ 7's is tough. I'd have raised 1500 or so, enough that they would expect an all-in to be called, dissuading them from bluff raising you. This also would have made calling from the BB harder. If he had a PP himself, I'd be toast.

The flop was about as good as you could get w/ your hand, so I would have pushed here. Once again, if the BB had a PP I've lost.

For the second hand, bottom pair is way too weak to risk it all. Fold and move on.

Good point. I definately need to make this adjustment - I find myself playing the same against the big and small stacks too often.

This is my other big leak....I tilt way too easily. About 5 or 6 hands earlier i had top too pair on a flop of KQ6 and got all in with one of the short stackes. Turn was 6, river A, to give his A9 hand a better two pair [img]/images/graemlins/mad.gif[/img]. That combined with hand one above set me over the edge to make a ridiculous bluff on the last hand.

Results in white:
<font color="white">Hand 1: Villian turned over KJ for a rivered higher pair. Should I have moved in on the flop? on the Turn? Normal sized bet on Turn?
Hand 2: Villian had me dominated with T6 for a higher pair.</font>

Hand 1) I bet a lot more on the flop (at least 1600), and dump it on the river.
Hand 2) You are almost certainly behind. I fold on the flop; fight with the guys who have stacks near you.
