I think you played it fine. I might have checked behind on the turn, try to see a free card, but, really, what are you going to do here with an overpair?

Also, I probably raise it preflop.

Yeah, I won't limp jacks preflop in a deep-stack game. I come in for a raise 100% of the time, probably t200-t250 here.

Despite being UTG, I would raise 3x. Not a hand you want to let the blinds in for free with. On the flop - with a call from CO/Button, I would overbet the pot a little. I wouldn't want to take a chance hoping for a check/raise. I also don't want to 1/2 bet, telling the followers that I missed my overcards. I wouldn't hesitate pushing a raise from behind. Likely move for an AT, flush drawer, etc. If you just get called? Gets pretty scary. (I guess that thinking could justify a push on the flop). But with a proper riase PF, and a sizable bet on the flop, you'll find less occasions where you have deal with a scare card on the turn.
