Tilt Vs. Las Vegas (NBC SHOW)

As Someone who watches both of the Casino based shows - I find it very funny how different they are with security.

They are complete opposities, on the NBC show the cameras will catch 2 people in the bathroom of their own hotel suite dreaming up a scam, but on Tilt - it's okay to discuss signals right on the casino floor.

I know they are both shows, and that "Tilt" is corrupt - but most of the things that were big deals on Tilt would have been picked up in 30 seconds on Vegas including

- The murder of Semour
- The fact that Eddie, Miami, and DMX all knew each other
- The signals about cards
- Handing chips off during the main event

etc, etc.

Anyone else find this irony funny?

Las Vegas is merely good for the T&A.

I find it funny that they handed chips on the casino floor instead of in the men's room where there aren't cameras

Dont you mean Baywatch minus Water = Las Vegas?

I think there is more sand in LV than there was on Baywatch, not to mention the chicks on LV are way hotter.

The Matador runs the casino - since he was the one cheating, he didn't need to worry about the cameras.

i've been a casino host for 6 years now...some time logged on the strip (3 years) and some off. the funny things about these shows is the irony behind the things people think are real and fake. survelience is amazing, but not in some of the ways you think...they key on things when they are suspicious...there isn't someone watching every inch of the casino at every second...it's just that every inch is being filmed at every second. but some of the outrageous demands of high action players that fans of the show think are made up fiction...are actually all too real.

Ah, thats what they want the regular employees to believe. Although cameras can see almost every inch of the casino, only about 10-20% percent is even being recorded at any given time.

you may be right (i've never worked in survelience), but i did get to go up once when we had a pick-pocket problem in the high limit room...i watched them go over tapes where we watched her walk from one end of the casino to another moving from camera to camera...at least in this instance there was MUCH of the floor that was recorded for review if needed.

I thought the best was handing the chips off to his underlings during the fake "WSOP"
