EV

New to this site.
got a question about EV and pot odds on single table tourneys. im a bit confused about all the concepts.

Im in small blind on level 4 and am dealt TT. i have chips stack of 450 after posting. BB has 400 afer posting. Button raises to 200. I go allin. BB calls with AK.
In this situation, do we both have correct pot odds to play?
Are we both looking at +EV? Is it possible for only two players in hand to both have +EV? Was this the right move?

Yes, the dead money in the pot can make it correct for both players to call, even if you knew each other's cards. This is common as the blinds get big in SNGs.

Sure, you put the button on a range, figured you were ahead of that range, and went all in. The BB has 200 dead chips in the pot and the possibility that he dominates you.

+chipEV or +$EV? There is a difference. +$EV depends on the other stack sizes, number of players left, sng structure, blinds, etc.

Depends. In this case it's almost always the right move. But just so you get into the habbit of thinking about ICM, it usually depends. (look in the FAQ for ICM if you don't know about it)
