its not probability but i thought you might like it and yes it is poker related.
1st sequence 1,2,4,8,5,10,9,7,3,6....... 2nd sequence 1,2,4,8,3...... complete the 2nd sequence based on the 1st sequence |

First sequence, 2^k mod 11; second sequence, 2^k mod 13.
The second sequence is used as the order for stacking cards in some kinds of solitaire, "each card double the rank of the previous card": Ace, 2, 4, 8, 3, 6, Queen, Jack, 9, 5, 10, 7, Ace again. Kings are blockers. I can't think of any direct connection between the doubling-mod-13 sequence and poker, though. |
