Weak tight?

I feel like I'm always put into this kind of situation. Anyone play this differently?

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.10 BB (8 handed) converter

MP2 ($9.60)
CO ($15.25)

Preflop: Hero is BB with K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
3 folds, MP2 calls $0.10, CO calls $0.10, 1 fold, SB completes, Hero checks.

Re: Weak tight?

Bet the river... You have top two here, on a non straight board, and he's shown no sign he has a flush. If he throws a significant raise out there, you can lay it down with confidence.

And the most important thing you failed to mention, is what is your read on your opponent?

In NL there is no magic formula to playing a hand, I play my hand depending on who my opponent/s are in the pot with me.

I think this was in my first orbit at the table, and I was 4-tabling, thus no read.

If I bet and he pushes, would you call?

Agreed, a pot bet or 3/4 pot on the river is definitely in order. If he just calls you probably have him beat.

This is one of the few times I over bet the pot on the flop. Too many people in the field and it defines your hand, which you don't need to conceal here. Drawing hands can then make the decision of they want to lose money or not.

Raise KTs out of position? No way.

Re: Weak tight?

I like a bigger raise on the turn, maybe a dollar. And bet the river.
If he comes over the top on either turn or river, then depending on the size of his raise I call.

What do you think he is flatcalling both the flop and the turn with? He didn't raise preflop so AK is unlikely.
