Straight draw push
From round 1 of a WSOP double shootout. I know I am supposed to fold preflop, but I have 15xBB and there is a lot of loose play going on.
PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t20 (9 handed) converter BB (t1115) UTG (t1440) UTG+1 (t2480) MP1 (t1110) MP2 (t1510) MP3 (t1440) Hero (t310) Button (t2850) SB (t1245) Preflop: Hero is CO with 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. 2 folds, MP1 calls t20, 2 folds, Hero calls t20, 1 fold, SB completes, BB checks. Flop: (t80) 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (4 players) SB bets t20, BB folds, MP1 folds, Hero raises to t290, SB calls t270. I had a 42% chance of winning the hand when the money went in. Was villain just a loose fish or did my push look like a draw or a steal? Should I have just called or made a smaller raise? |
Re: Straight draw push
I know you said the call preflop was bad so I won't touch on it much except just to say you need a much deeper stack to play it profitably IMO.
If you are going to play it this is a good flop and I like the push. |
