Is the table loose/tight?

If its loose i'll fold and wait for a better spot
Tight its a pushhhh, especially if the BB is tight

Man...

This hand is totally read dependent. I like to push here, but with the blinds at t300, any hand with the exception of 22, 2x, and 3x is getting odds to call. All three of those are unlikely to do so, so any time someone rattles off a call you're either a coinflip or crushed by a higher PP.

That being said, I think I bubble out more times by playing passively than I do by LAG'ing it up.

A long and winding answer leads to

POOOSSSHHH.

Fold.

Two stacks cover you. A call by any shorty cripples you.

A steal in 2 - 3 hands with anything may be better.

I just don't like pushing small pocket pairs in this situation.

This is really, really close, if you had just 300 chips less, I think it's mandatory. Here meh.. I'd have to think a bit. But, probably, fold.

How often have you pushed? What hands have you shown? I think youll get big stacks to call with only TT+ (if that) AK/AQ and small stacks say, 44+, A9+ KQ...

close

Worst possible position, a hand that hates a call and SB getting over 2-1 to call...fold

Re: 33 5-handed, 150/300

If you think they are as loose, or as tight as, 44+,A7s+,A9o+,KJs+, to call you, then you should push. If you think they will call with a range much looser than this it becomes borderline.
