Help w/ Linux VPN setup - PPTPD & PPP

If anyone has any experience setting up poptop, let me know. I'm running FC2 and I have no idea what I'm doing. I've installed packages for pptpd & ppp, but i'm getting errors about lack of kernel support for ppp (and i have no ppp module) as well as GRE failures.

I don't want to clog up the poptop mailing list w/ total n00b questions.

I have almost NO linux experience, but I am trying to learn.

I don't know what poptop is (tunneling ppp daemon?) We'll get it working.

The kernel errors sound like some networking module support is missing. For that you will need to recompile the kernel - do you have the kernel sources and header files available (see if there's anything in /usr/src/)?

Also do "uname -a" at a command prompt and paste in what it returns.
