remember, there is no RIGHT way to play poker. Everyone has different styles and tactics that work differently. If you would do this as a semi-bluff, then it is a good move. otherwise, observant oponents will see right through these bets, and u won't get action, unless u are beat.

The key here is that your opponents are not observant. If they were, you really should not be making these plays. If your opponents do not suck, you should never make this play. Luckily for all of us, our opponents are not good players.

Honestly, I dont like these plays at all. When the flop treats me right, I try and maximize the amount I win. I'm not saying slowplay and give the chasers free cards, but pot sized is usually a good amount.

Hand 1:
I dont object against the overbet on the flop, there are many draws and your hand is vulnerable, you have a small stack and play is difficult.

However I do not like the push on the turn. KT and T8 just got there with their draw, wont fold. Set wont fold. Better two pair wont fold. Who folds?
- Flush Draw: pot is not soo big that you really want them too fold
- Inside Straight Draw: dont want a fold
- Bad one pair: dont want a fold
- TPTK: might fold sometimes, if it doesnt fold here you would have gotten your money in on the river as easily

I'm too lazy to do the math right now, but it seems the turn push is not good.

Hand 2:
Even more trickier. Sometimes straight-draw will call, thats okay. Good flush draws will call and you are only a coinflip against them, thats not okay. Top Pair with good kicker will not fold here, because many fishes push all-in with Straight-Draws --> I dont like this push either. However I dont play in the same fishy games like you and can never expect a worse hand like middle or bottom pair to call.
