Dockside Indiana & Detroit
 

Indiana senate has passed dockside legislation. Looks like the legislation will become law, after it get by the full house. One of the provisions gives two licenses to the casinos already in place. In northern indiana that means a huge gambling base, because Harrah's, Trump, Majestic Star, Binions, and Blue Chip will double in size, or open businesses with different names, same owners. Anyway, it will be the equal of ten casinos.


Looks like Detroit's casinos may double, but because of a different reason. The method by which the original (three licenses) were granted, has been declared illegal. Rather than seizing all the assets of the current casinos, the courts may end-up giving licenses to the original applicants who were denied licenses. The Indian group fighting the legal fight, wants the assets of Motor City and Greektown seized.
