Now this is just getting childish.... I thought my first montage was pretty good actuallly. Shame about the lack of photographic evidence from the colonial era, or I could of made a good UK montage too.

Listen, my points are about patriotism, in all it's forms. Whether that be the 4th July or an England football game. What with the current political scene, I think all this flag-waving is particularly dangerous. But, sigh, we never learn from history.

How silly of me. In my righteous Yank anger I didn't even notice Stig is a Brit.

Chin up, old boy. Don't worry that your once-mighty country has now been reduced to a stain on the shorts of the developed world. You chaps were vicious conquerors in your own right, once. 'Sun never sets on the British Empire' and all. British raj, Zulu War, hell yeah.

And hey, starting the Chinese opium trade? That was a stroke of genius. Getting an entire country hooked on smack to line your own pockets was an idea right up there with our own trading of smallpox-laced blankets to the Indians.
