Hey guys.. Just had a bad beat and I was wondering what I could've done to prevent it. I feel like I played it well. Lemme know what you think. Thanks..

I will assume you were looking to limp reraise preflop? Im not a big fan of this play unless I am almost sure of a raise coming behind. I would also raise a little more on the flop, taking in down right there isnt so bad. Did you check the turn because you had the A /images/graemlins/diamond.gif? Regardless I think I bet the turn, but its close. River looks good.

I would make it 200, if opponent reraise, I'll fold. If opponent call, I put him either on top pair, flush draw, or a slow played trip, with the turn I'll likely just check. There's nothing you can do on river. Normally I wouldn't limp reraise in the first place unless I notice some maniac, it's better to pick up the small blind rather than lose the tournament.

i, personally, raise this preflop. slowplaying like this always seems to backfire in a tournament. how much you raise depends, but generally 3BB is a good idea. thats just how i play it anyways. winning small is better than losing big.
