what do you think of this math?

I once read a post on this site claiming quick odds math in hold-em

outs * cards to come * 2

It seems to work out for most calculations, but I wonder if it breaks down.

I just replied to a similar question in the Poker Theory section. It starts to get a little too inaccurate after about 11 or 12 outs. 20 outs and you are going to have an error of more than 12%
