Here's proof that I've seen it all before

B&M 4/8 game

I get a freebie in the BB with 2/images/graemlins/spade.gif3 /images/graemlins/spade.gif
5 other players. I check, waiting for the next hand.

Then...

Flop: A /images/graemlins/spade.gif 4 /images/graemlins/spade.gif 5 /images/graemlins/spade.gif /images/graemlins/shocked.gif

My first ever fully flopped straight flush. I, of course, bet out and get 2 callers and a raiser on the button. D'oh stupid position! I can only call here and try not to force out my other 2 callers. They both call.

Turn: 7 /images/graemlins/spade.gif

I bet out yet again. One folder. The other caller now raises. The button flatcalls. I 3bet. The raiser looks at the board really hard and then his cards, then folds. The button now decides to 4bet. Since it is now heads up, I make it five to go. He makes it six. I make it seven. Then he looks at the board real hard and decides to just call.

River: 8 /images/graemlins/spade.gif

I bet out. His eyes now bulge out of his head and raises confidently. I stare at the board and then stare at my cards and slam them down face up in disgust. He says, "Don't worry. You don't have to call the last bet" and shows off K /images/graemlins/spade.gif6 /images/graemlins/spade.gif

The worst part about this is that since he didn't use both of his cards in this hand, it didn't qualify as a jackpot. /images/graemlins/mad.gif

Not much more to add really.

That's just cruel and unusual.

Runner-runner 1 outers. The worst beat in all of hold em. Submit it to www.riveredagain.com you might win something.

Isn't this a fold? So you got off for the last bet? I don't get it, clearly you weren't folding here and at the casinos I've been in tabling your cards prior to showdown face up is a fold in limit play.

Sorry about the beat BTW, that is incredibly bad.

It was indeed a fold.

Wow! Laying down a straight flush on the river in a huge pot for 1 more bet. What would Ed Miller say?

Isn't it possible his face lit up because its just weird to see a flush hit the board? I'd have called in case he had like KQs or something.

Sorry to say this, but I've been on a bad run lately and now don't feel so bad. I thought this sh*t only happened to me. Hang in there. /images/graemlins/smile.gif
