Short-handed (5 or 6 players) 3/6 B&M.
Hero in BB with T8o.
Read on SB is that he's pretty solid.

Flop: JT7 rainbow.
SB bets, Hero calls (raise better here??), rest fold.

Turn: 9, completing the rainbow.
SB bets, Hero raises, SB 3-bets... your move?

Too late to do an edit...
Basically, is this just an automatic call down?

You have a straight, correct? Only hands that beat you are Q8 & KQ, correct? If so, I cap.

Then: call down 5th if he bets, or bet at him.

He's not the rock of all rocks, but he's reasonable and not too tricky. My read was was 95% sure that he at least shared the 8. After his 3-bet, the pot was about 8BB, but I could reasonably assume that at best I was getting 3.5:1 after a split (am I calculating this right, you call one BB for a pot of 8BB, if you win you get 4.5BB back, hence 3.5:1??) Also, while still on the turn, it was safe to assume that he's going to lead out on the river, so its closer to 3.5:2 to call it down - again, assuming my math is correct. So, looking at it this way, I guess I have to call it down, 4 out of 7 splitting is by far enough to make it profitable. But, no way am I capping the turn, maybe against a very weak opponent who has been known to bet like this with 2 pair, but this guy wasn't that stupid.
