Just got an email from total bet with some details of extras they have this month, bonuses for getting three sevens etc etc

If you are like me and going to play there to get their monthly bonus anyway, why not play on days when these extras are available, you never know yo might pick something up as well as the monthly bonus.

These promotions are so vague, seems easy to be denied. Has anyone ever collected on any?

24/06/2004 Straight Up Please Dealt 5, 6 & 7

Not sure how I can be dealt 567 with only two hole cards. Two down and one on the board? I guess any 56, 57 or 67 should see the flop? Do I need to go to showdown to collect?

But the website still shows June's promotions...

I get these email all the time (2 a week?)

Half of the promotions are for 7 card stud, like the one you mentioned. Make a note of the promotion if you are playing the right kind of game, and email them the hand number if you get the right cards.

I collect on these regularly. However, they are slow in putting up this month's specials. You need to write down your hand history number and then fill in the online form. Get paid within a day or two. Money for nothing really.

Sad that they dont give this bonus to lesser No-Limtit games, which gaves equal pots as the Limit games.

Then it has been more intresting for me, personally.

I collected the 10GBP three times late last month on the pocket queens promo, twice at total, and once at ukbetting. The $$$ hit my account in 2 days. It was a free $54 on top of the monthly bonus.

From now on I'm only playing off my monthly bonus in these 2 places on a day that they have a good promo and I actually played at total the other night for their Trip Aces promo even though I had got my monthly bonus.

I really like totalbet and ukbetting (but am in no way affiliated with either of these places).

I *think* they do count those. It appears the form was set up before they had NL and PL games. I think the thing to do is to mark the NL tables down as if they were the limit tables with the same blinds (so .5/1 NL would be like a 1/2 limit table).

That said, they have been somewhat spotty about actually paying me when I win, although they have done so a couple of times.

As to the promotional hands that require more than 2 cards (5,6,7, three tens, etc.), I had figured that in hold em what they meant was that you could make that combination with your two hole cards plus cards from the board. I agree they don't make this clear.

Those promos do add good value. I wonder if they could be convinced to offer a choice of default currencies like William Hill does. It's not enough to make me choose not to play there, but the currency fluctuations and Neteller exchange fees from pounds back to dollars are things I could do without.

But you get more $$$ if you get your bonus in pounds, I have a Will Hill a/c in us dollars and wish I could change it to pounds, thats got to be good even considering the currency exchange...

Actually, I figured that and downloaded the UK versions of both the casino and poker room for WH. The poker room allowed me to set my "default currency" to US$, and they still give me the equivalent of 25 pounds in monthly bonus. I'm not sure if that happens even if you download the US version. On the other hand, even though my casino version is in pounds (and bets are made in pounds), my bonus is still in $ because my residence is in the US. The do give me $40 per month rather than 25 pounds (not quite as good given the current rates, but not too far off). My balance is actually maintained in $, so there is no currency exchange fee with Neteller.

Haven't been able to find this answer anywhere yet...

I've been getting these emails for the last month or two. Today's promo says "Blackjacks is on all day long today. Get dealt Jack Spades & Jack Clubs and win between £20 - £40." Who's "all day" is this? Does it end at midnight GMT (7 PM EST)? Or, would it still be possible to get it until midnight EST. I'm guessing it would be GMT, and, being in the US, that just sucks. I'm lucky to get home from work by 6:30.

Yes, I emailed a few weeks ago them asking about it. They replied that all tournaments are in GMT. /images/graemlins/confused.gif /images/graemlins/confused.gif

I emailed them again (several times) clarifying my question, and got no response.

So, has anyone in the US collected this promo after midnight GMT (7 PM EST)?

Thanks

Never mind all, I finally got an answer from them. For anyone else interested, it seems like it uses your local time:

Dear XXXXXX,

Hello and thank you for contacting the ukbetting Casino and Poker Support Team at ECash Direct.

The times of this promotion depend on your location. It appears that you are on Eastern Standard time so any hands you play between 0:01 and 23:59 EST on the day the promotion is run will make you eligible to receive that promotion.

We hope this attends to your enquiry. If we can be of any more assistance, please feel free to contact us anytime. We are open 24 hours per day, 7 days a week (including holidays).

Kind regards,
Ruselle

I haven't tried to claim a Total Bet bonus for play after midnight GMT (still prior day in the US), but my strong suspicion is that they go by GMT for everything there. Everything about them seems to be based on a UK standard.

One thing you might be able to do is go for the bonus the night before the day in question (since it will be the next day going by GMT). They have a schedule of the month's promos on a link from their website. Unfortunately, last time I looked at it, they hadn't updated it for the current month, but hopefully they will again.
