View Full Version : Why do tables dry up at microlimit PL hold'em?

Having never played pot-limit before, I'm getting my feet wet in the very tiny pool that is $25 buy-in PLHE on Party.

It's the oddest damn thing: Unlike ring games, which seem to go on forever, nearly every pot-limit game I sit down in will run fine for about 45 minutes, then break up. I have a feeling that some of the players at this tiny limit don't like aggressive play, but I'm not sure if I'm just imagining that.

Is this just the nature of the beast, or is my sample of maybe a dozen games so far too small?

I find that people switch tables a lot on PP anyways. It's just so easy to do that people do it. I suspect that people are always looking for the highest avg. pot game and get in there to gamble it up! Thus leaving the current table.
