Oh the irony.

Get home after posting this and my mate turns up to give me a bottle of OUZO. Hes just been on holiday in Greece.

So maybe in a few days time ill have aquired the taste for it.

Apparently adding water make the drink makes it stronger, so the worse thing you can do is go out get hammered on OUZO and then wake up in the middle of the night with a raging thirst and drink and some water as this will get you pissed all over again.

If you've never had in your life a glass of ouzo on ice with some barbecued calamari on the side or a sambucca with alighted coffee beans to start the night, you would do well to retire to Montana and stick with the moonshine.

I agree with Ray, that crap (ouzo, calamari) tastes bad. So does whiskey. I can't remember if I ever tried Sambuca but it has a cool name. However seeing as you like ouzo and calamari, I'd be willing to bet that Sambuca tastes like battery acid and that alighted coffee beans are perfectly vile.
