I've been having some river problems lately. Weak-Tight would probably be a good description.

Feel free to advise on any parts of the hand, but my specific river questions are after each hand.

Hand 1

Party Poker 0.50/1 Hold'em (10 handed) converter (http://www.selachian.com/tools/bisonconverter/hhconverter.cgi)

Hero checks, UTG+2 checks, CO bets, Hero folds, UTG+2 folds.

Final Pot: 15 BB

The turn raise turned me off my hand, and with the flush not coming in I thought it was a good fold. Agree?

Hand 2

UTG checks, UTG+1 checks, MP2 bets, Hero calls, UTG calls, UTG+1 calls.

Final Pot: 18.75 BB

So many draws got there on the river, but the pot is awful big. Maybe the presence of UTG and UTG+1 left to act should tell me something?

River: (9.50 BB) 8/images/graemlins/heart.gif (3 players)
SB checks, UTG checks, Hero checks.

Final Pot: 9.50 BB

This may be the weakest play of my life. I guess I was afraid of the flush... Moster-under-the-bed-syndrome?

Bet? I don't think I can fold here.

1) I would have played same way
2) I think you need to pop the turn here, I would have check called the river
3) Heads up, automatic bet w/o question... w/ 3 probably still auto bet... anymore than 3 or 4- i would check call
4) Unless you have a good read or excellent fealing about BB's holing, you need to fold to the turn raise. I would give credit to the average BB having a 10 here unless you think he is caple of the bluff. Going with that assumption, you are a 1-22 shot of catching a queen on the river. Pot isn't big enough yet.

The number of opponents in the hand shouldn't matter that much here, you still have to bet.

lil, I think you are correct about hand 3. I was thinking that I would check call with more than 3 or 4 players b/c I would not like to call a raise with this hand after I bet river. Would it be a clear fold to a raise, given no reads on the raiser?
