Empire vs. Party account

I curretnly have PartyPoker installed on my computer, but I want to play at Empire through an affiliate (primarily the $500 bonus) plus get the VIP points (where as Party offers nothing). Problem is I Empire wont let me sign up for an acocunt because of my party software. If I uninstall Party will I be able to open an Empire account?

Yes, if you uninstall party, you can sign up for empire (then reinstall party afterwards). Alternatively, you could use a different computer that doesn't have party installed on it.
