These are the featured speakers at the two conventions this year (in addition to the Presidential and VP nominees and their wives). Do you agree with me that the GOP lineup is much better? I love the Kennedy choice ha ha ha.

Did I read somewhere that Zell Miller (Democratic Senator from GA) would also be speaking at the Republican Convention?

I have a great deal of respect for Miller, as he doesn't just "toe the party line". He has tended to vote with the Republicans the past few years, as the other Dems get further and further to the left.

Yes. He will speak. The GOP will have the only truly bipartisan convention this year. /images/graemlins/laugh.gif

I don't know, but I just read a lengthy spread on how the sex industry and escort services around the city are ramping up for all the Republicans coming to see us soon.

Preach about "family values" all day, [censored] whores at night.

About what I would expect fronm the sons of your party Mr. Bush.

I think you misunderstood the article. They are ramping up for the arrival of many protesters and the media horde.

It should be fun to see Arnold pronounce the entire English language incorrectly.

Different article I think sir, perhaps one of your aides can assist with those trickier longer words like "prostitution"...or you could mumble the last 6 letters so no one can tell if you really know the word or not /images/graemlins/wink.gif

Besides, the prohdhtvdhbdtgsbh all live here...

He can pronounce them just like GWB...only he will have his hand up Ane Coulter's skirt while he mumbles.

McCain is a deadly dull speaker. Arnold is better, plus he adds movie-star status. Guiliani is not a great speaker either, but he has added gravitas since 9/11. It's a good line-up.

Kennedy is a great speaker, but he looks like a big ghost. Clinton bombed at the 1988 convention, but one would think he'll do well at this one.

You and Kerry have the least charisma of all the mentioned speakers.

Do you honestly think that the Democratic convention is going to be any different?

Contrary to what you seem to believe, the republicans have not cornered the market on sexual promiscuity. Politicians on both sides have been screwing more than just the tax payers for years. It was happening before the existence of the parties that we know today and it sadly will be happening long after these parties are gone.

No, I don't. But the Democratic party doesn't proclaim family values as critical either.

Anyone who is banging whores, should not:

Ban Gay marriages
Make oral sex illegal
Ban abortion

Do you think EVERY republican at the convention that fucks a prostitute would fight for THAT babies life? Do you want to bet on it?

Yada yada yada, people in Glass Houses....

Don't you see a difference? I should hope so...

I am sure there are many catholic democrats who are against gay marriage.

Give me a F*ck'n break. Yes, there are some in the Republican Party who are opposed to this, but I believe they are a small minority in the party. Is there even a proposed bill to ban this? If so, who is sponsoring it?

"Banging" whores and impregnating them are two entirely different things. Are you saying that pro-lifers are incapable of cheating on their wives and or hiring a prostitute?

I think these arguments are weak. And for the record, I am not a Republican. Republican bashing and Democrat bashing by people who are blinded by their own political biases really frusterates me to no end.

Thank god for independants .

I love the way Andy responds to GWB's posts in the second person (i.e. addressing Bush as "you"). I think this is a riot.

Giulanni and McCain will be great speakers. Too bad the candidates for president and vice president are not of the same caliber. Scwarzenegger? Who wants to wade through that thick accent to listend to his vacuous ramblings?

For the Democrats. Clinton is a good choice, if they can get him to keep his speech under 90 minutes. Regarding Kennedy, I hope they can sober him up enough so we can understand what he is saying. OTOH, it might me better for the Democrats if we can't understand what he's saying.
